Hasta las pistas de esquí de Javalambre en Camarena de la Sierra me desplacé con Jacobo Moreno para disputar la prueba. Destacar con tristeza que otra parte de la expedición tuvo que quedarse en casa por enfermedad.
No es la primera vez que realizamos la prueba. Para los amantes de la montaña es lo más parecido a desplazarnos a Pirineos pero a 1h y media de casa. Todo una pasada. Una prueba diferente. Una prueba que ha destacado este año por el excesivo calor y una subida extra sacada de un buen sombrero de mago.
¿Qué hace de especial a la Perimetral?
Si por algo destaca esta prueba es por su alta relación entre distancia y desnivel. Si hablamos del Perimetrón, los datos son 42km y +3800. Si hablamos de la original, de la Perimetral ( aunque ha ido variando ), son 30km y +2700.
Subidas interminables a las que hay que añadir, la altitud y un balizado fuera senda en un entorno virgen es lo que la hace especial.
Organización
Durante unos años la estuvo gestionando los amigos de Corremón Events y sus asociados. Desconozco el motivo pero esta vez no estuvieron ellos y aunque no tenemos pega de la entrega y amabilidad de todo el personal organizativo, la calidad en alguno de sus servicios si se ha visto resentido. Aunque a nosotros ese tema nos da un poco igual puesto que somos un perfil de deportistas que busca únicamente un entorno sobre el que disfrutar.
JACOBO MORENO
Sigue dando muestras de su gran calidad pese a una agitada vida laboral que dificulta muy mucho el poder entrenar. Aun así pudo terminar sobre la distancia de 30km en una meritoria 5ª posición, y una más que meritoria 2ª posición en la categoría veterano. Disfruta que cada vez te queda menos para llegar a Master.

Personalmente estuve compitiendo en la distancia Perimetrón. Simplemente destacar el calor horrible que pasamos en el bucle de la subida a San Pablo y el alto porcentaje de abandonos. Toda la prueba a remolque de Alfonso de la Torre para finalizar en 6-7 posición con 7h39′.
Ya queda menos para la Ehunmilak.
